Jonathan "Jon" D. Cartledge is a shareholder of the Firm. He graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2001, where he earned numerous awards, including Order of the Curule Chair; George and Jean Price Award for Excellence in Research and Writing; Outstanding First Year Student Award; ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law; and CALI Awards for academic excellence in the following subjects: Legal Research and Writing, Civil Procedure, Torts, Introduction to Alternative Dispute Resolution, Administrative Law, and Federal Income Taxation. Jon earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Government & Pre-law from Oral Roberts University. He is the head of the Firm's research, writing, and appellate division.
Jon was named an Oklahoma Rising Star in 2014 and 2015 in Appellate Law by Oklahoma Super Lawyers.
Jon focuses his practice primarily in the areas of legal research and brief writing and appellate argument, but also practices regularly in the areas of general civil litigation, commercial litigation, and insurance defense. Jon is married to his wife Julie, and is the father of two children, Grace and Ian. He and his family are active members of their church.
